Instructional Routine: literature circles, read chapter book, used story board, apply story elements, locate pictures to represent story and elements, use music that creates an appropriate mood.

The video rubric for animoto is available on request from jennifer.montgomery@eminence.kyschools.us. She lists a step-by-step process for creating a book trailer.

Issues/Barriers- Potential solutions:
With animoto, more than one student cannot access the same account. There is a lot of preparation to get the video together--collecting photo, writing text,
creating the video. Need to create more than one teacher account so more than one students can create videos at the same time.

Voicethreads can also be time consuming especially if you don't have enough computers for everyone. The product is worth the barriers.

Advantages/disadvantages to specific application(s):
Allows teachers to give variety for projects, allows special ed students who do not write well to do more audio, and allow gifted students to be challenged.
